At that time, a variety of Indo-Europeans were spreading through Europe and Asia considered trees a fertility expression of the energy of Mother Nature, so they worshiped.
The oak was in many cases, considered the king of trees. In the winter when the leaves fell, the ancient people used to put different ornaments on it to attract the spirit of nature, thought he had escaped.
The modern Christmas tree originated in Germany and its earliest date from the 16th century. It was from the 19th century that the tradition came to England, France, United States, Puerto Rico and later, in the 20th century, became a tradition in Spain and most of Latin America.
